This page explains what this website collects when you contact it, and what happens to it. Sell Diamond Engagement Ring is an independent referral service, not a buyer, pawnshop or dealer: it passes your inquiry to an independent buyer in New York who makes any offer.
The form
When you send a form on this site, we receive what you typed: your name and phone number, your email address and city and state if you gave them, and anything you said about the ring, such as the stone’s shape and weight, the grading report, the metal and the maker. It is stored on this website and emailed to the site’s operator.
Who receives it, and why
The site’s operator passes your details to one independent buyer in New York, so that the buyer can contact you by phone or email about your ring and make an offer if you want one. Your details are passed to that buyer only.
Phone calls
The number on this site is answered by the site’s operator. What you say on a call is used to answer you and to pass your inquiry to the independent buyer.
If you sell a ring
If you go on to sell a ring, the buyer keeps its own records of the sale. In New York City a licensed buyer must record each purchase, including the seller’s name and address, and keep that record.
Seeing, correcting or removing your details
