Terms

Sell Diamond Engagement Ring is an independent referral service, not a buyer, pawnshop or dealer. It does not buy, appraise, grade or test rings, does not lend money, and is not a party to any agreement between you and a buyer.

Offers and sales

When you call or send the form, your details are passed to an independent buyer in New York, who may contact you and make an offer. Any offer, and any sale, is between you and that buyer alone. Asking is free, and you are never obliged to sell.

No prices

This site gives no prices and no estimates of what a ring is worth. Where a page explains how value is figured, it uses placeholders, not figures. Metal and diamond prices change, and only a buyer who knows your ring can make an offer.

Rules and laws described on this site are short summaries of the published sources named on each page, and they can change. They are not legal or tax advice. For a question about who owns a ring, ask a lawyer; for a question about tax on a sale, ask a tax professional. Confirm any rule with the agency that publishes it before you rely on it.

Names and pictures

Names of jewelry makers and of laboratories such as GIA and IGI are used only to describe what a seller may own or hold. This site has no connection with them, or with the FTC, the NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection or the 47th Street Business Improvement District. Photographs on this site are used for illustration and do not show a particular buyer, business or sale.

Ask what your ring is worth

Your note is received by this site’s operator and shared with one independent ring buyer, who will reply privately by phone or email. Asking is free, and you are never obliged to sell.
